About the Role:

Swift & Company Trade Group (STG) is the independent meat trading businesses of the world’s largest protein producer; JBS S.A. STG is looking for International Traders in their office in Brisbane.  Our activities are conducted in fifty plus countries, across a full range of proteins.

Responsibilities:

• Developing accounts of suppliers and customers within a specified region.
• Managing market exposure and claims.
• Work as part of the trading team, gathering and sharing market information.
• Liaising with shipping staff to ensure smooth completion of orders, including payment and delivery.

• Commercial outlook
• Ability to work effectively autonomously as well as part of a team
• Ability to adhere to and follow instructions, discipline to follow up issues in a timely fashion

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years international meat trading experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Multi-lingual language skills and meat experience highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, Agricultural Science or a similar disciplines a decided advantage
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an as needed basis.
