Airnorth are recruiting for a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join the Continued Airworthiness team. Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator supports the Fleet Maintenance Controllers (FMC) to ensure the continuing airworthiness requirements are met for aircraft operated by Airnorth. This position coordinates with the Operations and Airworthiness Departments in preparation of the scheduled maintenance plans, ensuring the Continuing Airworthiness obligations of the company are met. This role is a full time position working Monday to Friday.

 

The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator role responsibilities include:

  • Support the FMC in his/her responsibility for the control of all maintenance carried out on the aircraft fleet (scheduled or unscheduled), ensuring that all maintenance is carried out on or before the specified flight hours, cycles or due date;
  • Comply with all activities and procedures specified in the CAMO Exposition (CAMOE) and CAMO Procedures Manual (CAPM);
  • Maintain oversight of the activities of Maintenance Planners and Data and Technical Records officers as required to fulfil the supporting role;
  • Comply with the work pack process as specified in the CAPM;
  • Maintain the Routine Task Cards within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS);
  • As directed by the FMC’s ensure that the AMP’s and MEL’s meet regulatory and company requirements;
  • As directed by the FMC’s have sufficient input into the coordination and production of aircraft maintenance plans;
  • Support the FMC in ensuring that the aircraft operational and emergency equipment required is identified and has been fitted to the aircraft
  • Support the FMC in the monitoring of defects to detect trends that are adverse to safe operation;
  • Support the FMC in ensuring aircraft technical records are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • As directed by the FMC, liaise with Flight Operations staff on such matters as aircraft serviceability, scheduling and pilot compliance with the requirements of the CAPM, MSMs, and MELs;
  • As directed by the FMC, liaise between the CAMO planning staff, operations and the AMO to accommodate unscheduled maintenance;
  • As directed by the FMC, participate in the Reliability Review Program (E170 and E120 aircraft);
  • Support the FMC in ensuring effective weight control of his / her respective fleet:
    • maintain the weight and balance record for each aircraft
    • prepare and maintain the equipment list for each aircraft;
  • Support the FMC in ensuring in administering the engine trend monitoring activities where applicable; and
  • Support the FMC in all required activities and tasks associated with the exit and induction of aircraft in to and out of the Capiteq Pty Ltd organisation.

 

We are looking for someone who posseses the following:

 

  • A team player with a thorough knowledge of the Civil Aviation Act and Regulations, aircraft maintenance control systems, maintenance programs and reliability programs;
  • The ability to assess aircraft manufacturer technical documentation and has experience with Aircraft maintenance Programs;
  • Sound understanding of aviation safety and airworthiness requirements;
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneousdly within strict timeframes;
  • Ability to understand technical documentation;
  • Experience working with a CMMS;
  • Demonstrated time management and interpersonal skills;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software suite; and
  • Is able to obtain an ASIC.
