An exciting opportunity has become available for a proven, experienced Customer Service Manager with Advanced Lighting Technologies Australia, Inc ( ADLTA)

Servicing a portfolio of leading local and multinational Consulting Engineering clients, ADLTA hold a reputable name in the industry by providing outstanding technical lighting solutions from our sales lighting team throughout Australia supported by our internal customer service team.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager you will serve as a vital link between clients and key business stakeholders and play an integral role in business communications. We are looking for a confident, experienced and professional person to continuously improve our Customer Service.

You will provide the interface between initial lighting design, quotation and order fulfilment, manufacture and the delivery phases of lighting projects. This will require commercial support to our Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain best practice support functions  that deliver high levels of service to our customers
  • Effectively manage and develop the Customer Service Support team
  • Provide technical product support to the sales and customer service team
  • Receive Non-Conformance incidents from customers, register, and resolve, between all stakeholders
  • Achieve strong co-ordination and co-operation throughout the business through effective communication, reporting, and management systems.
  • Be open to change as the business grows and develops

Skills & Experience

  • Proven Leadership Qualities in mentoring and developing a team
  • Technically minded
  • Account management and negotiation skills and experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships
  • Act as the interface between the client and all relevant internal key stakeholders
  • Along with Production team, assist in determining production requirements by determining optimum delivery expectations with clients.
  • Understand, communicate, and assist in building supplier relationships including new product release information and
  • Coordinate collection of supplier technical product information and communicate to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Constant coordination and follow up of client order status through production, logistics, and despatch to ensure customer delivery expectation met.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Production and Quality teams to effectively deliver our lighting projects.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Lighting industry experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally electrical engineering or electrical manufacturing, coupled with business and/or project management
  • Extensive experience managing projects ranging from small to high dollar value commercial contracts and clients, with an understanding of contract administration principles.
  • Solid relationship building and negotiation abilities, whilst providing a quality customer experience.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical lighting specifications.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office and an ERP
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver and report on project key milestones and overall objectives.
