Description
As a member of the Procurement Team you will work as Category Manager responsible for key areas of spend across a range of indirect categories. Whilst you will have the support of a corporate office including a Procurement Analyst, you will be expected to be hands-on and able to drill down into the detail of your various allocated categories and areas of corporate spend.
As Category Manager you will perform analysis across your market reviewing and score-carding existing and potential suppliers. You will make informed recommendations giving consideration to price, quality, risk, sustainability and ethical considerations.
The procurement team is highly visible and works in collaboration with internal stakeholders across the major corporate functions and business units. As such, you will need to be able to work constructively with colleagues to add commercial value to their discussions and considerations.
Profile
You will have experience working within a procurement team. You are likely a candidate who has a highly developed procurement analyst or buyer profile who is making a move into an end-to-end category management procurement role.
You will be able to deliver on the tasks outlined above; i.e spend analysis, supplier performance review and category execution.

Starting base salary is $90,000 to $105,000 depending on your level of experience. Superannuation in addition.
