About the role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist in all aspects of collection, sorting and distribution of donated goods and materials at our Villawood factory and shop. This includes assisting the Sorting Team with stock control and accompanying Drivers when required.
Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- Supply goods and materials in line with requirements of sorting staff
- Ensure factory sorters have constant supply of stock
- Accompany Drivers when required to assist with changing and installing collection bins
- Ensure sorting area is clean at all times and clear of empty cages, waste bins and trolleys
- Participate in annual performance review and training as discussed with management
Skills, knowledge and experience needed:
- Able to work unsupervised
- Physically able to fulfil the requirements of the position
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Previous manual handling training
