Overview

Secure role working with a National organisation with a friendly working culture. This company imports steel poles and requires a switched on enthusiastic individual to work within the small Perth  team.

You will be an experienced yard/ store person prepared to join a fun and hardworking team based South of the river. You will be responsible for the processing of all incoming/outgoing goods, maintaining an organised yard and moving and locating new stock and orders as required.

To be successful in the role you will have the following qualities and skills.

• Experience managing stock in the yard. Moving and loading trucks managing inventory and responsible for receipt and dispatch of orders.
• Ability to Liaise with Sales Team, Customers, Vendors & Delivery Drivers at various times.
• Forklift Licence and or HR Licence (we may assist with training for an outstanding candidate)
• Eye for detail.
• Ability to operate forklift and other plant equipment safely.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Clear hand writing style.
• Good communication skills with external and internal customers both verbal & written.
• Effective communicator
• Organised, disciplined and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines 
• neat presentation.
• Willing to work within a system and ability to do what needs to be done to get a job done.
