Category Specialist with FM/Property experience required!
Your new company
A government agency is seeking the services of an experienced procurement professional to join there team on a 6 month contract. This is a great opportunity if you have been looking to break into the public sector.
Your new role
As the Category Specialist you will be responsible for managing high value, high risk procurement and category management activities relating to FM and Property categories. Key duties will include:
- Conducting thorough market and category analysis
- Leading the procurement activity from end to end
- Identifying opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience within the FM and Property categories where you have led end to end procurement and category activities. You will have:
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset and ability to work with numbers to produce data driven decisions
What you'll get in return
This is a 6 month opportunity paying up to $69 per hour plus super and will be based in the CBD reporting to a great manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in joining the public sector.
