Join this small and friendly cleaning product supplier conveniently located on the city fringe in North Melbourne as their purchasing officer. This full-time permanent role offers you plenty of variety with purchasing being your main responsibility but you will also be involved in customer service and admin support so you will never be bored. This established business is actively looking to appoint another long-term staff member.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the State Manager, your primary responsibility will be purchasing, stock management and financial reporting for the business. The secondary responsibility will be to actively involved in providing customer service and administration support, so the role comes with plenty of variety. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of MYOB and/or Oracle, as well as, the Microsoft Excel and Word. This is an ideal role for a candidate looking for responsibilities outside just purchasing and for someone looking for a long-term role.

• A number of years working as a Purchasing Officer
• A number of years working in retail or customer service
• A number of years working in admin support
• Excellent communication and time management skills

You are highly regarded if you also have:

• Strong MYOB and/or Oracle experience
