About the Position - Production Planner

CEA has an exciting Production Planner position available for a fixed term period of 12 months. As the Production Planner you will create and maintain work orders, provide project updates, and liaise with other internal departments to ensure that issues affecting production builds are resolved in a timely manner. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Production Planner will be responsible for:

  • Planning projects to achieve project deadlines and ensure production resources are utilised effectively. 
  • Maintaining the production schedule to ensure timelines are achievable.
  • Reporting and communicating the status of production to reduce potential issues that may impact the delivery of the product.
  • Managing kit paperwork and distribution - ensuring that stock and production work in progress is accurate.
  • Planning tasks accordingly in line with manufacturing procedures and work instructions.

The Person

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • An understanding and knowledge of manufacturing. (Electronics manufacturing is desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems is highly desirable.

This role requires an Australian Government security clearance.  The successful candidate MUST be eligible for a security clearance.
