Sphere Healthcare is a leading contract manufacturer of Complementary Healthcare Products, based in Sydney with easy access to major motorways.
We have the perfect opportunity for a mature individual looking for full time work. We are looking for an experienced warehouseperson with Inventory experience to assist our Warehouse Supervisor. The primary responsibilities of the role will be to ensure all stock control procedures and being adhered to, maintain high levels of stock integrity, rectify miscalculations, review and analyse the results of cycle counts, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
To be successful in this position you will be enthusiastic, switched on and happy to jump in and assist the team where and when required.
The Role:
- Routinely conduct cycle counts
- Enter counts in computer system
- Recount or investigate discrepancies from the cycle counting process
- Participate in all company cycle counts and stocktakes
- Ensure that stock receipting accuracy is maintained to the highest level
- Inventory transfers within Warehouse and locations
- Location maintenance
- Participate in all team based activities
- Contribute towards Continuous Improvement processes
- Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards
Skills:
- Minimum 12 months Warehouse/Logistic experience
- Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail
- Knowledge of SAP functions and WMS would be highly desirable
- Current Reach/CB Forklift and Drivers Licence
- Superior time management skills with ability to manage work schedules unsupervised
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines effectively
- Excellent analytical skills including Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
