We are currently looking for an experienced MC Driver for our Truganina depot who will become a valuable member of the Freight Specialists team with a focus on delivering excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Change Over Linehaul - Melbourne/Sydney
- Accurate reporting on driver runsheets
- Completion of Pre-start checks on equipment
- Promoting and ensuring all operations are conducted in compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and the Australian dangerous goods code (ADG).
Education & Qualifications
- Current MC Drivers' licence required.
- Bulk DG licence preferred
- BFM Accreditation is desirable
Experience
- Must have previous linehaul transport and driving experience.
- Proven experience in operating a B-double vehicle including hooking & unhooking trailers and backing on to docks.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and treat others with respect
- Possess a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable and efficient with a 'Can-Do' attitude.
Pre Employment
- Police background checks and pre-employment medicals required for all applicants
- Must produce a VIC Roads Driving History print prior to interview and copy of current licence
