Your new company

Your new role
You will :
- Project manage the implementation of a centre-led procurement-contract management model
- Provide procurement and contract management advice to all organisational staff
- Manage the ongoing effective operation of a centre-led procurement model across the whole organisation
- Ensure the current ERP and all associated processes and practices are optimally utilised to provide “best practice” centre-led procurement
- Ensure compliance of centre-led processes and practices in order to comply with best practice
- Manage the timely procurement of all goods and services, and ensure compliance to all legislative and regulatory requirements and Town policies
- Implement improved methods of procurement to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of the process
- Manage the development and implementation of supply panels for major procurement categories
- Manage contracts effectively to ensure the optimisation of cost, quality and schedule outcomes
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed within the skill and abilities of the individual
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience in local or state government procurement. You will have highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. You must have comprehensive knowledge and experience in tendering and contract management. CIPS membership will be looked upon favourably.
