About the role:
In this customer focused role, you will use your logistics planning/ scheduling experience to negotiate access to the network into an efficiently integrated plan for implementation within the day-of operation network control environment.
Responsibilities / Critical Deliverables-
- Ability to develop integrated network schedules, processing track access requests and train service entitlements, in consultation with both internal and external customer representatives and stakeholders. This is accomplished in accordance with relevant access agreements and other legislative, contractual and policy requirements.
- Capability to identify, analyse and resolve customer and service provider issues relating to the operation of train services on the Aurizon Network.
- You will liaise and negotiate with customers and stakeholders to ensure both customer needs and commercial obligations are met.
- Develop and deliver accurate and efficient train schedules and train notices as required for day-of-operation implementation.
About you:
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills with internal, external stakeholders.
- Significant level of experience within planning, scheduling and logistics.
- Strategic and creative thinker that embraces change.
