Reporting to our National Supply Manager, you will be based in our new North Sydney office, and work closely with key internal stakeholders and external vendors as well as leading a small team.

The role will be key in supporting the National Supply Manager to drive change to achieve a ‘one system' platform for materials planning in Australia. The role is an integral member of the National Planning team and will lead the change management elements as we centralise the Materials Planning function

Specifically, you will:

• Actively participate in setting and implementing the National Supply and Planning strategy.
• Manage material and third-party vendors at an executional level, integrating vendors into the company S&OP processes
• Support the NPD process as it relates to transactions on new materials and vendors
• Initiate and maintain cross functional relationships to deliver targets, in particular with the Operations and Procurement teams, ensuring the efficient and successful management of the planning function.
• Support the Supply and Demand planning functions to ensure compliance to agreed processes and achieve performance against KPI's.
• Review of business processes in relation to the strategies of the National Planning team and the solution or architecture of related business systems.
• Manage the relationship between the National Planning team and Commercial

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Supply Chain/Procurement experience (5 - 10 years)
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams with excellent negotiation skills
• Lateral thinking with a problem solving attitude
• Good reporting and proven analytical capability
• Able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a high-speed environment
• Internal & external relationship building skills
• High level of detail and accuracy
• Understanding of Supply Chain from procurement through to sales
• Negotiation and leadership with the ability to effectively manage a small team.

• Ability to align business process with the capabilities of the supporting business system(s)
