About the role
This new role will facilitate a culture of continuous business improvement for this service including people, process and systems across this Government portfolio. The measures of success for this role will include facilitating rapid business change and innovative business capability across the business.
Your remit will include working collaboratively with a broader business team to optimise operational effectiveness and efficiency across the business.
About you
You will need to be a well-seasoned and respected Business Improvement Analyst with a reputation for delivering business improvements in an evolving complex service. You will bring with you the following:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience directly in a business improvement practice as either a team member or key influencer;
- Solid experience (minimum 2 years) working on projects delivering tangible business outcomes;
- Experience using business improvement methodologies evidencing tangible business improvements;
- Experience with general areas of business improvement;
- Experience with Agile, waterfall and flexible delivery methodologies;
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
- Business analyst experience, gained on large and complex projects preferably within a government (State or Federal) operating environments;
- Tertiary qualifications/education in Six Sigma – Green Belt or greater;
- Strong business / client engagement skills, with an ability to establish effective working relationships with senior stakeholders;
- Strong verbal communication skills, with specific experience facilitating workshops and focus groups;
- Ability to produce written documentation to a high standard, including developing procedural documentation;
- PC Skills, including a high level of competence with MS Office, MS Visio, Confluence and Jira.
