Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Manager Asset Design to join the Design and Investigation Group, based in Gladstone/Calliope.
This is a key strategic management role and is required to provide high level management and leadership oversight of the design of asset design solutions across Council. The purpose of this position is to provide visual representation and undertake design for current and proposed Council assets to ensure safety and compliance so that Council meets is statutory obligations.
About you
1. Tertiary qualification in Engineering Drafting (or related discipline) and experience in design management and delivery a strong understanding in asset management principles.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of design standards for Local Government asset classes.
3. Demonstrated experience in leading a high performance, professional team.
4. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and corporate business systems.
5. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
