ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the management team this opportunity exists to lead a team of project professionals to support the execution of capital works programs throughout the full project lifecycle. It will be imperative you have a collaborative approach to lead the Projects team and engage with key stakeholders across the business.
ABOUT YOU
You will have a proven track record of running capital works programs together with previous experience in leading a team in both a project and functional line management capacity.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Ensure the Major Capital Program is delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and meets business quality standards and functional requirements
- Provide effective and visible leadership to the projects team and functional line management
- Drive innovation across the Major Capital Program through design, systems, processes, technology and strategic leadership
- Lead maturation of project governance framework to drive uplift in performance across the project lifecycle
- Bring strong collaborative leadership with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver desired outcomes
Your key competencies will include:
- Demonstrated expertise in the delivery of large multi-disciplined programs of work and projects to the value of $50M per project &/or annual programs of approx. $70M
- Extensive experience in leading functional teams to ensure optimum employee satisfaction and performance
- Extensive experience in developing, implementing and maintaining project governance frameworks
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Quality Survey, Engineering or related field
