About us

SUHO offers ‘end to end’ sustainability solutions and compliance consultancy to the building industry. About you
With your exceptional technical knowledge, you will be conducting energy efficiency assessments on commercial apartments (Class 2) and residential dwellings (Class 1), primarily of architectural design and alterations/additions.
With a minimum of 2 years experience in a consultancy environment, you will show competency in at least one of the NatHERS accredited softwares (FirstRate5 preferable), capable of autonomous reporting, modelling, simulation and analysis.
You will demonstrate a good understanding of building principles, construction and basic heat transfer principles.
You will model your excellent interpersonal skills both internally and externally. Through your adept communication skills, you will be a team player with a can-do attitude; as well as committed to developing and maintaining client relationships.
With a passion for sustainability and in addition to the above, the following will be viewed favourably:
- A degree in architecture, environmental studies, drafting or other relevant tertiary qualification.
- Well-developed computer and data entry skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local standards and codes (including NCC Volume 2, Part 2.6).
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with other thermal modelling software i.e, Design Builder / EnergyPlus.
