In a highly competitive market, delivering competitive advantage through leveraging our data and generating timely, actionable insights will be key to providing the customers the best possible experience and enable Sportsbet to continue pushing the boundaries as a digital leader.

To deliver on-going success, Sportsbet are ramping up their Data & Analytics capability with increased focused on insights led analytics.

The role will deliver small and large projects across the whole of Sportsbet including Marketing, Product, Media, Risk & Trading, Customer Operations.   Integral to the role is to create and maintain reporting solutions, data infrastructure and report delivery.

There is a real opportunity for the right person to shape this high-profile role and add significant value across the business.

Your accountabilities will also include:

• Ensure that data is analysed into meaningful, actionable insights that will improve decision making and consequently drive business performance
• Create data solutions that can be replicated and used for multiple purposes
• Deliver complex analytical tasks to the key stakeholders and the wider business
• Identify opportunities to develop standardised reporting dashboards and metrics freeing up time to spend on deriving insights for the business
• Give business users access to faster, more insightful and more contextual information to help improve the speed and accuracy of business decision making
• Ensure that reports are meaningful and are designed with the end user in mind
• Manage and deliver project in a timely manner

IS THIS ROLE FOR ME?

The successful candidate will join the Analytics team and will be a self-starter, a strong communicator and have a broad analytical, commercial and project skillset. You will have a delivery-focused mindset and experience in producing timely, high quality analytics and insights. ‌

• Power BI or similar BI tools preferred
• Google Analytics or BigQuery experience preferred
• Using and manipulating large datasets
• Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering
• Highly developed analytical skills
• Strong logic and ability to explain complex analysis in a simple way
• Knowledge of data management, data services and ETL principles, architecture and technologies
• Analytical experience (including web analytics preferred)
• Proven record in delivering insights based on analytics
• Developing customized data reports to inform strategic leadership decisions.
• Experience working in relevant industry (desired)
