About the business
Live It Acoustics is a fast growing and dynamic acoustic consultancy building a reputation for providing high quality services. With offices located in Mackay and on the Sunshine Coast, our team enjoy the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects throughout Queensland.
About the role
You will be based at the Mackay office with a small team you will be involved in a variety of small and large acoustic projects administering documents and reports, managing project tasks and liaison with clients, attending site, undertaking measurements, modelling and analysis.
Preferably you will have graduated with a tertiary degree in Science or Engineering and have a keen interest in environmental noise and vibration.
Any previous work experience in acoustics or a related field is advantageous and experience using SoundPLAN will be looked upon favourably.
We do encourage applicants with minimal experience or limited work experience in the field of acoustics who have a keen passion for noise and vibration to apply. Equally important to us is cultural fit and shared vision. We want to grow our team around the right people.
The successful candidate must:
- Be proactive and have a willingness to learn;
- Have excellent report and writing communication skills;
- Be available to travel throughout Queensland as required;
- Be willing to work outside of normal work hours when required; and
- Have a current Australian Driver's License and Permanent Residency.
