Overview
We are seeking a manager to oversee the Ore Processing area (comprised of 120 personnel) at our Cadia mine to ensure safety, production, and cost targets are achieved in-line with the overall business strategy.
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Cadia Valley Operations your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing, maintaining, and overseeing systems for the secure transportation, refining, and delivery of bullion to customers;
- Regularly monitoring production performance and initiating corrective actions as required;
- Managing processes to identify and assess capital improvements and making recommendations for capital expenditure;
- Overseeing the work performance of direct reports, and ensuring they have the capability and capacity to meet their objectives; and
- Actively promoting best practice safety behaviours and leading by example.
This is a permanent position that is based in Orange, New South Wales. The successful applicant will be required to relocate to the local area.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have significant experience within the minerals processing sector, including exposure to crushing, grinding, and flotation plant.
Other requirements include:
- A tertiary degree in either Extractive Metallurgy, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline;
- Prior experience within senior leadership roles, with the ability to manage large operational teams; and
- A demonstrated background in the provision of safety leadership / management.
