Our client, a well-established mining contractor with a number of projects around the globe is looking for 2 experienced Service Truck Operators for one of their key projects in the Southern Bowen Basin near Blackwater.
About the Role:
If successful for this position you will be responsible for the mobile equipment availability. The role will incorporate in field services including general maintenance, monitoring fluid levels, refuelling, grease lines, and you may be required to help out in the workshop on the odd occasion.
Duties:
- Safely operate the service truck and work in with the production team
- Routine maintenance on mining equipment
- Equipment servicing including oil and filter changes
- Refuelling of large mobile plant equipment
- Monitor fluid levels on mining machinery
- report any defects
- Promote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environment
- RIIs for Service Trucks (dated within 5 years)
- Service Mine Plant & Equipment qualification
- Current Standard 11
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
- 7/7 roster
- Camp & Meals supplied
- Stable contract
- Temp to permanent position
