Reporting to the site Manufacturing Manager, this pivotal role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Lagoon Street warehousing and distribution functions, both internal and external. This includes:
- Ensure adequate staff and physical resources are available to meet operational demands;
- Coordinate all transport and storage of products, packaging and other materials such as pallets & chemicals;
- Ensure the efficient management of inventory through such measures as the coordination of stock counting & physical stock control within & between sites and maintaining the security of stock, plant & equipment
- Management of the DPU Logistics team capability, competency and performance to meet the ongoing resource needs of the business;
- Monitor adherence to key OH&S, food safety & related risk management policies & procedures;
- Attend to key administrative functions including Kronos/payroll records, cost analysis etc
Location: Bega
Hours/Flexibility: A day work role with hours to be worked between 6.00am and 6.00pm

- Previous experience in leading/coordinating staff in an effective & consistent manner ;
- Capacity to work & communicate effectively & cooperatively throughout the organisation;
- A high level of organisation, prioritisation & attention to detail;
- An enthusiastic disposition; eager to learn & grow through this career opportunity;
- Minimum of Certificate IV in a transport, warehousing or related discipline.
