Duties and responsibilities
Applicants will be responsible for assisting with commissioning for start-up of a combined cycle power plant within an LNG plant by:
- Ensuring safe commissioning through implementing relevant project plans and adhering to legislation
- Liaising with construction teams to ensure readiness and completion of all documentation prior to handover
- Executing panel operations during commissioning, start up and handover
- Assisting with commissioning activities including function/stroke testing, tightness testing, inerting and drying, line-up and co-ordination for run-in of rotating
- Administrate and execute
- Managing permit to work
- Participating in proactive HSE involvement utilising the client's HSE tools.
Job requirements
We are seeking applicants who hold the following skills;
Mandatory;
- Certificate IV in Electricity Supply Industry – Generations Operations
- 5 years’ experience in panel operations within a Combined cycle power plant environment
- Trade qualifications with advanced boiler and turbine tickets
- High risk licence
- Experience with Yokogawa and GE Mark IV equipment
Preferred but not essential;
- Authorised Gas Testing
- Emergency Response Training
- Valid Confined Space Training
