Our client is seeking experienced Underground Deep Hole Drillers on a 2:1 roster to join their very successful underground operation.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Accurate production drilling to design and instruction
• Inspection of your workplace ensuring that a safe working environment is free of hazards and risks through your actions
• Good housekeeping and correct signage is used at all times
• Communication with Mine Control of all physical measures and delays in real time
• Completion of shifts reports and effective clear handovers with your cross shift and supervisors

As an experienced Drill Operator within the mining environment, you will have both well-developed technical skills and personal attributes including the following:

• Have safety as your number one priority
• Experience in the operation of LM 700 and 1300 series feed frame with PHC and DCI control panels and Atlas mobile carrier rigs with PHC control panels
• Deep Hole Drilling experience - Depth of 1000m
• Basic mechanical aptitude for drill rig maintenance
• Understanding of ring design layout
• No less than 2 years operational underground experience
• Current C Class Drivers Licence
• Working at Heights ticket is highly desirable
• A current National Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one
