About the role
Vertech are seeking locally based trade qualified Electricians and Inlecs with Oil and Gas experience for ongoing maintenance roles in Darwin. Candidates with Rope Access experience will be looked upon favourably, alternatively Vertech will be willing to provide Rope Access training for suitable candidates.
While locally based tradesmen will be given priority for these opportunities, Vertech encourages interstate personnel who are willing to relocate to Darwin to apply.
Maintenance roster will be a 5 days on / 5 days R&R followed by 7 days on / 4 days R&R
Skills and experience
- Oil and Gas experience
- Trade Certificate (Electrical Worker's Licence NT)
- Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
- Low Voltage Rescue (includes CPR)
- Hugh Voltage Switching - looked upon preferably
- Current First Aid
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- IRATA Rope Access (Level 1, 2 or 3) - Vertech will consider providing training for suitable candidates that do not currently hold this certification
