Bis is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor with a commitment to zero harm, to oversee our operations at Evolution. The successful candidate will work closely with client representatives to safely lead, oversee and coordinate the site operations, with support from Bis Management team.

This is a Kalgoorlie residential only, roster is a 8/6 or 5/2. 
  
Key responsibilities for this role include and not limited to:
  

• Enforce compliance with Bis Zero Harm strategy and associated policies, procedures, KPI’s and WHSE activities.
• Effective daily deployment, utilisation and supervision of team and mobile plant to ensure client daily quality and production targets are met;
• Facilitation of daily pre-start meetings, in respect to safety and production targets;
• Daily rostering, crib and fatigue breaks managed effectively;
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness of Leading Hands and Operators;
• Manage performance and development issues swiftly and fairly;
• Complete personnel development reports on time and effectively;
• Spend time in the field observing and interacting with operators
• Complete timesheets correctly and approve on time;
• Ensure compliance with all Bis systems, processes and business rules; and
• Bis productivity, performance, fleet management and cost control standards are achieved.

  
The successful applicant will possess the following:
  

• An understanding of WHSE obligations;
• 3-5 years demonstrated operational experience in a Supervisory capacity;
• Current MC Drivers Licence and Loader tickets;
• Ability to engage and lead a team of personnel from both mechanical and operational disciplines;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances; and
• Formal supervisory qualifications/certification desirable.
