An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Production Technician (Operator Maintainer) in the Colongra region. This role will be responsible for applying specialised plant knowledge in identifying root causes of defects, develop and implement regional plant improvements, perform routine maintenance, manage site contractors works and operate the plant as required, to safely deliver the required availability and reliability of the plant in the most effective and efficient way.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A trade background (Electrical or Mechanical) with 5-10 years demonstrated experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of gas and diesel assets and access requirements for these assets

• Knowledge of maintenance program requirements, analysis techniques and maintenance management practices

• Demonstrated fault-finding & plant diagnostic skills along with a high understanding of plant reliability principles

• Ability to communicate with a wide range of personnel to provide a consistent, reliable and high level of service

• Computer skills involving, spreadsheets and statistical analysis

• Demonstrate alignment with SHL's Values and Behaviours

• Comprehensive knowledge of planning, access authorisation and scheduling systems

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of personnel and customers

• Capability to adjust effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures

• Be open to change as well as being able to initiate change ideas
