We currently have an opportunity for a trade qualified Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians based in Darwin to join our team supporting our gas plant maintenance operations onshore and offshore in the Northern Territory.
The successful candidate will be on a FIFO 3 weeks on 3 weeks off roster, with the Point of Hire being Darwin.
Only candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar Oil and Gas operations will be considered for this role, with a preference on being based in Darwin also.
Maintenance requirements:
- Compliance to site HSE policies and procedures
- Competent in Facility Planned and Corrective maintenance operations including gas engines, compressors, Hydrocarbon dehydration systems, Camp Accommodation and utilities.
- Participate in the execution of plant shutdowns.
- Collect and collate relevant data for reporting within Upstream PS systems and client requirements.
- Maintain a log of all maintenance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Exposure to Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and its use.
- Communicate and report to company and client management and support personnel.
The Person
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years previous Oil and Gas experience.
- NT electrical license endorsed with Cert IV Instrumentation qualification(I/E)
- EEHA Competence (I/E)
- Certificate II or above in Process Operations within the Oil & Gas sector (Desirable)
- Current NT driver and forklift license
- Current Apply First Aid Certificate
- TBOSIET
- MISC
- Boat transfer
- Enter confined spaces and rescue
- Dogging
- Elevated Platform
- Working Safely from heights
- Good communication, personal and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding and commitment of OH&S standards within the work place.
- Hydrocarbon, chemical or process experience.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry standards.
