What you will be delivering

Working in Mondo Power, an independent subsidiary division of AusNet Services, you will support the growth and delivery of exciting and new major energy projects across Australia. Working within a growth area of the energy sector, you will report to the Projects Delivery Manager and be accountable for delivering customer energy solutions that support the growth of an energy and assets solutions business underpinned by mini-grids, residential and commercial customers. You will provide project management expertise to deliver renewable energy projects, including micro-grid, solar PV, battery storage and energy management control systems that are necessary to compete in a DER (Distributed Energy Resources) environment.

You will also support other AusNet Services and Commercial Energy Services business lines in terms of solutions support and innovation that can be developed and implemented across AusNet Services portfolios.

Duties:

• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on-time, within scope, budget and quality requirements
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Identify and manage project risks to minimize project risks in accordance with the risk appetite statement
• Establish and manage commercial contracts with product suppliers and delivery partners
• Contribute to the Research & Development and technical innovation in the pursuit of commercialisation of new technology to deliver growth and competitive advantages for the Business and Community Energy team.

What we like about you

• A passion for renewable energy, innovation and delivering projects with cutting edge technology
• Solid project management experience in delivering energy related projects. Preferably in delivering commercial roof top solar systems, ground mounted solar farms, battery storage solutions or Micro-grids.
• A background in High Voltage Infrastructure (eg: Electricity Transmission or Distribution)

• Strong commercial acumen including a demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects, budgets and resources to achieve business targets and desired outcomes.
• Proficiency in common tools and applications use to manage programs and projects (eg. Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Online, SAP).
