As a result, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for a range of future positions.
Roles include:
- Production Leading Hands
- Senior Flotation Operators
- Wet Plant Process Operators
- Control Room Operators
- Mechanical Fitters
- Electricians
Successful candidates will ideally possess:
- Minimum 2yrs previous experience in wet processing plants
- A strong commitment to a zero harm safety culture
- A "can do attitude" and a flexible approach to work, to meet the goals of the company and the role
- Current C Class Driver’s License
- Confined Space
- Work at Heights
- High Risk licenses for classes CN, RB, EWP, FL highly advantageous
Specific to Production Leading Hands:
- Sound understanding and previous experience in in mineral processing operations including crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation (conventional and reverse), thickening, and filtration, tailings disposal and management (wet and dry).
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience in project start and ramp up
Specific to Control Room Operators:
- Sound understanding and previous experience with control room operation in mineral processing operations including crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation (conventional and reverse), thickening, and filtration, tailings disposal and management (wet and dry).
- Detailed knowledge of process control fundamentals and philosophy.
- Previous experience with GE Cimplicity SCADA operating System is desirable.
- Experience in project start and ramp up
Specific to Senior Flotation Operators:
- Sound understanding and previous experience in mineral processing operations including crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation (conventional and reverse), thickening, and filtration, tailings disposal and management (wet and dry).
- Detailed knowledge of flotation fundamentals and philosophy
- Experience in lead, zinc, nickel, lithium, magnetite, copper, gold flotation both conventional and reverse.
- Experience in project start and ramp up
Specific to Wet Plant Process Operators:
- Sound understanding and previous experience in mineral processing operations including crushing, grinding, magnetic separation, flotation (conventional and reverse), thickening, and filtration, tailings disposal and management (wet and dry).
- Front End Loader and skid steer ticket Advantageous
- ROM production loader experience advantageous
- Experience in project start and ramp up
Specific to Mechanical Fitters:
- AUS/NZ Trade Certificate
- High Risk License – Dogging
- Slurry pump, mills, gearboxes, flotation cells, tanks, filter belt experience
Specific to Electricians:
- WA Electrical License
- High Risk License – EWP
- High Voltage Switching Ticket and experience
- Current Low Voltage Rescue & Perform CPR (valid 1yr)
- Instrumentation qualification and experience advantageous
