Polyfit Fabrication is a Western Australian owned and operated business with a head office and workshop located in Port Kennedy, WA. Polyfit Fabrication are a leading supplier of Poly Fittings, Fabrication and Polywelding with projects spanning across Western Australia. Polyfit offer workshop fabrication of tanks, guards and marine equipment, field installation of polyethylene pipeline anywhere in Australia as well as a large range of Machinery for Hire.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to Service our fleet of Machinery and Equipment at the Gruyere Site 200km East of Laverton. The roster is 4 weeks on and 1 week off.
The role will involve repair and maintenance of Vehicles, Polywelding Machines, Generators, Excavators, Loaders, Cranes, Trenching Equipment and other associated Equipment. Work to be performed will be all field work.
To be successful in this role it is recommended that you have:
- At least 5 year's experience in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
- HR License (not essential)
- Quality Tradesman
- Excellent Workmanship
- Be able to work as a team
- Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Able to pass Pre Employment Medical and DAS
- Excellent References
- FIFO Experience
- Current Police Clearance
