The Environmental Services division is looking for a proactive and highly driven Field Sampling Technician to work across several regional sites. The Environmental team is experiencing a high growth in projects and this position will be a great opportunity for you to develop your field sampling skills within a regional area
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be an autonomous and hands on role. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Field sampling and analysis
- Carry out, evaluate and act on quality control checks
- Act on management recommendations on safety, efficiency and productivity across all sites
- Prepare and arrange delivery of samples and supplies
- Maintain and build high valued relationships with clients
- Record, and maintain field data
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a motivated and hands on team member who can make this position their own and develop within the Environmental business. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science or other relevant fields
- Demonstrable understanding of field sampling
- Capable of setting up and operating sampling equipment
- Analytical and detailed in the assessment of environmental conditions risks and quality assurance results
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Current WA C Class driver's license
