About the Role

Our client is looking for multiple competent and experienced labourers and plant operators to assist with the operations of the water and sewerage reticulation system based in Gympie, QLD. The role will require Mon-Fri availability with the occasional weekend or overtime required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain light plant, equipment, vehicles and tools in a competent and efficient manner.
• Perform labouring tasks in a safe, competent, proficient and timely manner.
• Truck driving tasks 

Necessary Knowledge & Skills

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in an integrated team environment while fostering a good working relationship with co-workers and members of the public.
• Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of a water and/or sewerage reticulation systems. (desirable but not essential).
• Demonstrated physical agility and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and bending.
• Knowledge of Civil Construction and Maintenance activities.

• Open Drivers Licence (essential)
• MR/HR Truck Licence (desirable)
• White Card/Blue Card (essential)
• Own PPE
