Our operation provides you with the opportunity to live locally and go home every day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO.  We are only 130kms from the Perth’s CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.  You will work a 7:7 roster so there will be plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle this area can offer you.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Supervisor – Mine Maintenance Hauling & Ancillary, you will be responsible for the Planned Maintenance (PM), refuelling and associated tasks that support NBG’s Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Fleet. You will ensure servicing activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner, maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled maintenance through quality and effective work.

Who you are

It is essential that you have previous experience in a mining open pit and workshop environment servicing the following Caterpillar equipment:-

  • 793 D & F Haul Trucks
  • D10 & D11 Track Dozers
  • 854 Wheel Dozers
  • 994 Wheel Loaders
  • 16H, 24H & 24M Graders

As a minimum you will have a C class manual driver’s licence, experience operating a Caterpillar 773/777 size service vehicle, Caterpillar SIS experience, and basic computer skills.  Ideally you will also have:-

  • A MR Class Driver’s Licence
  • A High Risk Licence (crane, rigging, dogging, forklift, elevated work platform)
  • SAP experience
  • A Senior First Aid Certificate
  • A Mechanical trade qualification

You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe.  Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
