Storeperson - Mt Webber Mining Operations

BGC Contracting is the largest Australian privately owned Mining and Construction Company. BGC Contracting currently has projects nationally in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mining Storeperson working on a 2:1 roster FIFO form Perth (Virgin Flight).

Mount Webber is an Iron Ore mine located 250km South-Southeast of Port Hedland for which BGC Contracting manages the mining and ore processing on behalf of Atlas Iron, (the client).

The Storeperson reports to the OHP Superintendent and will work closely with the Workshop team and is responsible for maintaining inventory control of goods and parts.

Key responsibility of the Storeperson includes but not limited to maintaining stores/laydown areas and stock in accordance with manufacturers requirements and BGC Contracting procedures and as directed by your Supervisor. Preferred applicants will have experience in ensuring stock is maintained according to required targets specified. You will have a strong commitment to safety.  A current Driver's license and forklift ticket is required and JD Edwards experience will be highly regarded.
