We are growing our team based in our Biloela Operation.
The G&S Engineering team delivers professionally managed engineering, maintenance and construction projects to the mining industry. Our success is achieved only through the ability, determination and passion of our people.
The role
We are seeking an energetic individual with logistics/warehousing experience to join our team. The successful applicant will be able to perform under pressure in a time-sensitive environment while working with accuracy and producing high-quality results.
About you
You will have a proven track record of experience in Logistics/Stores or Warehouse Management; an attitude that safety and well-being comes first; and a willingness to go the extra yard to achieve great results for yourself, your team and your customers.
You will be willing to work flexible work hours (inclusive of weekends and nights on occasion)
Attributes and Skills
- Demonstrated focus on safety and well-being
- Strong attention to detail, including with high-degree accuracy data-entry, and a hands-on approach
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn new systems, and find opportunities for improvement
- Team player, reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Ability to work unsupervised, in a self-driven work environment
Key Competencies
- Current Coal Board Medical – Section 4
- Experience with computer based Stores/Warehousing systems
- Current High-Risk Forklift license and experience is essential
- Current MR Truck licence and experience essential
