Established company within HV infrastructure design is looking for a Secondary Design Engineer.
Your new company
Your new company is a reputable company that focuses on design and delivery of high voltage infrastructure. Due to growth, the company is requiring a Secondary Design Engineer to join their team located in Western Sydney.
Your new role
Your position will require you to be responsible for the secondary design of HV projects. You will be responsible for the conceptual and detailed designs, project costing and scheduling, and the supervision external suppliers. You will also have a focus on the isolation of faults and management of load.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Prior experience working in a Secondary Design Engineering role
- Demonstrated experience in secondary design protection, control, AC/DC and SCADA
- Experience creating detailed designs for HV substations
- Ability to effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders
- Capable of completing site commissioning and faults testing
