Tronox Kwinana has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Analyst in the Quality Control Laboratory based at our Kwinana Pigment Plant. The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for providing quality laboratory services for the analysis of routine and non-routine process samples, finished product lots and environmental samples, in order to meet the agreed goals of the Pigment Plant.
The preferred applicant will possess:
- Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques or higher
- Ability to work a 12 hour day / night roster
- Accurate and timely data entry skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good written and verbal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
- Ability to comply with environmental and licensing conditions
Prior experience in the operation of XRF, MP-AES / ICP, UV-Vis and Laser Particle Size equipment will be highly regarded. Previous experience in a pigment or paint manufacturing laboratory (or similar) will also be advantageous.
The successful applicant will benefit from working an attractive rotating roster within the Perth metro area.
