Candidates will be joining a team of 20 + specialised maintenance contractors completing special projects and routine maintenance of fixed plant and machinery of Quarry, Concrete and Asphalt assets throughout metro Melbourne and country Victoria.
Candidates should be proficient with welding, oxy-cutting and mechanical duties.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the correct maintenance is undertaken to optimise productive capacity and replacement of components in the field and workshop. As well as proficiency with oxy cutting/welding, you must be willing to work in all weather conditions and be flexible to work up to 50-60 hours per week including night shifts and weekends.
Ideally we are seeking the following:
* Trade Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Arc & MIG Welding
* Various plant experience - Mobile and Fixed
* Experience in Mining Bucket/Body Repairs
* Flux Core welding
* Air Arc gouging
* Ability to pass instant Drug & Alcohol screening

* Current Resume and two recent professional references

* Current drivers licence & own Transport with basic tools
