Urgent and Immediate requirement for a Mines Mobile Digital Radio Engineer for a long term contract in Perth.

All applicants must have full work rights in Australia.

Note: The sportsmen roster consists of either five 12 hour shifts with a combination of days and nights or four shifts with a combination of days and nights. 28 day cycle with 14 days on and 14 days off. Please only apply if you can work in this type of environment.

Type: Contract (Immediate to 31 Dec, 2018 + extension)

Required Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of radio standards and principals
• Radio base equipment :experience in fault finding and system setup of radio base equipment Preferred in DAMM, Rohill, Motorola
• Terminal equipment and understanding of radio Fleetmaps and system requirements Preferred: Sepura,Tait,Motorola
• P25/APCO: Knowledge of radio standards and principals.
• P25 Knowledge of radio base equipment Preferred : Motorola ,Tait
• P25 Knowledge of Trunked radio systems Preferred: Motorola system cores. Version 7.14 or greater .
• Microwave radio Knowledge of installation, commissioning and Fault diagnostics
• Radio dispatching and radio console
• Knowledge of power systems AC+DC and battery banks. Able to interrogate and understand battery trends
• Knowledge of Diesel power systems and control systems /PLC systems
• Knowledge of RF antenna systems and cabling systems and the use of remote tools to assist fault finding.
• Networking and switching skills Preferred Cisco CCNA
• Knowledge and radio paths profiles and RF propagation
• Knowledge of Microsoft server and SQL data base.
