To support our operations in Australasia we are currently looking for an Electronics Technician.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual residing in Perth, Australia to join our Schlumberger Maintenance team.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Preparation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high technology drilling and formation evaluation equipment used in the upstream oil and gas industry. Responsible for job execution, overall performance, and the provision of technical and operational expertise to other Repair & Maintenance staff and other departments.

Requirements:

• Reside in Australia and have the full right to live and work in Australia.
• No travel restrictions and open to relocation in Australia based on company’s requirement.
• Proof of 2-3 years Technical TAFE Diploma Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-5 years’ experience in the same field.
• Solid hands on electronics background essential.
• Strong Math and Physics results.
• Able to follow directions and company policies and Service Quality and Performance focussed.
• Ability to learn quickly and translate the learning into practical solutions.
• Strong Commitment to QHSE.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and work effectively in Teams.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Ability to follow procedures and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to complete paperwork in a legible manner.
• Available for Immediate start.
