As Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the productivity improvements for our strategically important underground coal mining customers within the Illawarra market. This is a permanent full-time position, based in Wollongong.

Reporting into the Senior Account Manager – Illawarra Region, this role will focus on the following responsibilities:

• Proactively seek and manage information from the customer that will aid in technical and productivity improvements of the Komatsu products
• Development of world class product and services strategy driven by our customers success
• Lead frequent senior customer and internal Komatsu meetings, prepare and deliver proposals to specific customer needs
• Demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all aspects of business, and when dealing with Komatsu proprietary information, customer information and contract negotiations
• Ensuring that the delivery of new products and services meet program requirements and is to the appropriate quality, time and budget
• Managing and resolving any risks and other issues that may arise
• Reporting progress at regular intervals
• Deliver Industry leading levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty with assigned strategic accounts

Experience and skills required for this role:

• Extensive experience with underground Coal Mining products and mining processes
• Highly skilled developing and implementing targeted strategies, change management, and plans
• Highly skilled at facilitating, influencing, and maintaining effective cross-functional working relationships
• Ability to provide professional presentations to our customers
• Strong business acumen, relationship management, and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships
• Mining, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering degree (Management Qualifications highly desirable)
