The Opportunity – Coal Clearance Coordinator- Dendrobium
Based on site, the purpose of the Coal Clearance Coordinator is to provide leadership and direction to the execution of day to day Coal Clearance System maintenance activities to achieve established KPI targets for safety/care, cost and volume and to statutory compliance.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Actively contributes to forecasting and scheduling of Coal Clearance System maintenance activities and projects
- Analyse Coal Clearance equipment performance with a view to predicting and preventing unscheduled downtime
- Oversee Coal Clearance mechanical or electrical components, equipment and personnel performance to ensure productivity requirements are met
- Demonstrate personal compliance to all elements of the Mine Operating System (MOS) including disciplined planning, delivery, accountability and urgency
- Daily Rescheduling Process, prepare 24-hour shift plans and reconcile any differences with the Weekly Plan for each Production and Mine Services shift
- Review work execution performance with team members, identify gaps and take corrective action as necessary to improve performance
- Clearly communicate targets, work plans and expectations
About You

- Trade certificate or equivalent recognition in Mechanical engineering area
- 3 years working in an underground coal mine
