The Tropicana Gold Project is a large gold mining operation located 330km north-east of Kalgoorlie, on the edge of Western Australia's Great Victoria Desert. Macmahon's 10-year mining contract includes all mine planning, drill and blast, load and haul, crusher feed and other associated works.
Macmahon is currently seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators to join our mining production team. This position will be on a continuous day and night 14 Shifts on / 7 Shifts off roster, flying from Perth to the Tropicana Project Site.
To be considered for this position you must have;
- Proven experience in operation of Caterpillar 793 (Prefered)
- Has more than 3 years of operating Dump Trucks (CAT 777, 785 or 789)
- Previous experience in a large scale and dynamic production mining environment
- Physically fit for the demands of the role as this is a hard rock gold mining operation
- Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
- Minestar or similar type Dispatch System.
