We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to work within our Engineering & Maintenance Services team working the lifestyle roster (in accordance with current QAL practices).

About the role:
Reporting to the Turnaround Superintendent, your primary role is to manage the turnaround work of settlers/washers and tertiaries. You will manage the safety and output of both trades and non-trade teams to ensure all work is completed on time and to correct quality specification.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensure turnarounds meet plans, schedules and scopes, and track/report on progress during each turnaround
- Coach team members to improve individual and team safety behaviour including leading toolboxes, performing Safety Interactions and assisting with risk assessed clear task allocation
- Supervise a turnaround team to effectively and efficiently overhaul equipment focusing on improving reliability and reducing overhaul costs
- Lead a multi-skilled team to achieve safety, environmental and maintenance targets
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Mechanical Trade background preferred but not essential
- Commitment to safety, environment, continuous improvement and business targets
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience with the ability to lead, change and develop a team
- Excellent operational decision making and problem solving skills combined with a desire to succeed in challenging situations
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
