Our Shutdown division services short term maintenance works from lift planning, crane hire, logistics and supply of qualified personnel that are safe and deliver a quality service on time.
The Shutdown division currently employs 150+ Crane Operators, Riggers and Truck Drivers who are ready to be deployed to client sites nationwide for casual/ad hoc shutdown and industrial maintenance work. We are looking to increase our capacity to meet the increasing demand for workers particularly in the North West at sites such as:
- Yandi
- Area C
- Jimblebar
- Whaleback
- Eastern Ridge
- Nelson Point
- Telfer
- Cape Lambert
- Yarra
- BP
- KNR
- KNS
- Cape Preston
- Tronox
- Brockman 2/4
Our employees work with a newer fleet of various cranes (generally All Terrain) which include:
- Leibherr (55t, 95t, 100t, 160t, 200t, 250t, 500t)
- Tadano (70t, 160t, 180t)
- Grove (60t, 130t, 300t, 450t)
- Franna (20t, 25t)
- Demag (55t, 80t)

You need to have
- FLEXIBILITY!
- Proven ability and discipline to work in a safety first environment,
- A great attitude,
- Ability to present fit for work at all times,
- Minimum 12 months experience in the shutdown/maintenance environment,
- Experience working in the mining industry,
- Crane Operators: C1 or CO and HR Licence + RB ticket (Minimum)
- Riggers: RI + C Class Licence (Minimum)
- Truck Drivers: MC Licence (minimum)
- Ability to be available to attend relevant inductions and medicals,
- General computer knowledge, to get yourself through online inductions & Training.
You need to reside in Perth or in surrounding areas. Applicants that live in the eastern states and willing to transport themselves will not be considered.
