Projects Crew - Underground Mining
Barminco Ltd is currently seeking a suitably experienced Underground Project' Crew Operators for our underground mining operations at Sunrise Dam in Western Australia.
This position is a physically demanding role responsible for delivering a variety of tasks to assist the Team with the installation of underground services and equipment in various parts of the underground mine in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner.
This role is FIFO from Perth on a 7/7 (day shift only) roster.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Underground installation of pumping infrastructure
- Concrete works
- Installation of truck/bogger stops
- Wall building installation, installing secondary fans
- Assist with mine pumping/maintenance and installation/assisting dewatering projects.
- Be proactive in any and all EH&S initiatives, reporting all incidents and potential safety hazards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Peak physical fitness for a physically demanding role
- At least 5 years underground work experience
- Flexible and willingness to assist with varied tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to learn new task quickly
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
