2018 has brought a multitude of new work to our exciting company, and with that we need to expand our head office team, located in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.

About the role

We are looking to recruit an operations manager to assist in supporting the company directors, and supervise a growing team of 30 staff in the field. The main purpose of your role will be overseeing the day to day operations within the company, dealing with both employees and clients, working closely with the operations assistant and admin.

While the role of operations manager is a varied one, the position offers the right candidate an exciting, challenging role that is both rewarding and has opportunities for growth within the business.

Your role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Employee co-ordination and management
  • Developing, applying and improving operational systems
  • Managing the implementation of continuous business growth and improvement
  • Journey and travel management
  • Roster scheduling and logistics
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive working culture
  • Responsible for the upkeep of a high standard of OH&S practices
  • Manage and oversee employee training and implement site specific training
  • Travel and transport co-ordination
  • New project support in the field
  • Managing and recording budgets, project costs and expenditure

Skills and experience

To apply for this role, you must have the following:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior management or operations management role
  • Full drivers licence and own reliable transport
  • Full work rights in Australia, no temporary, student or holiday visas
  • Able to commit to Monday – Friday working week with potential for travel and overtime
