AUSTRALASIAN MINING SERVICES PTY is a national and international recognized major supplier to the mining and exploration drilling industries.
Due to continued growth we are now seeking a General Manager to oversee our business operations and future growth expansions. This role reports directly to the Board and will have full day to day control of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all the day to day operations of the business covering operational performance, commercial management of business development, budgeting and profitability.
- Oversee day to day head office and our branches operations to deliver an effective and high performing culture.
- Be focussed on delivering and exceeding client expectations.
- Stimulate a culture of continuous improvement where the business will challenge itself in all areas and you will lead this change
- High level of communications ability across all levels of company and customer needs.
- Excellent Relationship management capability both internal and external
Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of least 10 years’ experience gained as a senior professional gained in a mining/exploration management role or from an OEM senior management background
- You will bring with you a strong and respected mining industry relationship network.
- You’ll have a positive “lead by example”Leadership style which can inspire and develop our people to achieve the desired results.
- Be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering business growth and continuous improvement.
- Working exposure within a competitive high demand environment
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of financial management and developing business’s to leaders in the market.
- Regular interstate and occasional overseas travel is needed to fulfill this role.
